As the machine of technological development plows ever forward, we look behind us and see who and what has been left behind. What role can new technologies play in creating an enduring peace when seemingly technology moves faster than humans can understand it? How do we reckon with the harms of AI and mass surveillance? How can we harness technology to benefit our peacemaking? Together, we will reflect on what peacemaking looks like when we recenter relationships with God, with each other, with ourselves, and with creation.
Intercollegiate Peace Fellowship (ICPF) is a collective of colleges from the U.S. and Canada that exists to further conversations and relationships around peace and justice, rooted in Anabaptist and Mennonite theology. ICPF hosts an annual conference, organized by students, to continue discussion around what peacebuilding work looks like in our current social and political context.
